Well my flight from Dallas to San Francisco was perfect. Made a friend on the flight named Daniel. Nice guy. Shout out to you my friend! Blessings to your life!

Arrived in San Francisco and it only took 1 hour to check in, pass through security, and arrive at my gate. There is a long escalator going down and up from my gate. I went down and then decided I needed to grab some water and went to go back up the escalator. There was an old Asian lady in front of me going up. She only made it a few feet before she lost her balance and her and her back went falling backward so I quickly caught her in my arms and helped her up and to the top of the escalator. She kept saying how lucky she was. Well… not luck… but something.

So I got some water and returned to my gate and saw I had an email. It was from the school in Haifa… it is my invoice for the language school. $1,100 due by Tuesday the 4th of October. And I have $520 in my back account. So… the timing of that is interesting to me.

I’m tired, hot, sweaty, and already feeling culture shock as I sit here surrounded by people heading to Hong Kong. I board my next flight to Hong Kong shortly and from Hong Kong I’ll fly to Seoul. It’s already been an eventful day.

Already missing my family and friends… but no turning back now. Forward! Onward! Let’s see what God does in South Korea!
