Hebrews 11.

Confident in my relationship with God… by faith… the actions done in obedience will speak long after I have gone home. The echos of what has been spoken to me by God will travel well beyond the physical places I go and people I speak to. They will be the ripples that go out from this place and touch every corner of the earth for the glory of God. In a moment… in an interaction… in a smile… we as those who are called serve the Lord daily… so our faith echos out from us and joins with the echos of our brothers and sisters in Christ to form the powerful waves of faith that pass down through the centuries.

For my part I have been influenced by the echos of my brothers and sisters who ran their races before me. Their stories and their faith drives mine forward and yes even joins with my to create an ever bigger impact on future generations of men and women who will begin their own journey of faith before the Lord. I can because they did… and even greater things yes.

Faith builds faith. Trust in God strengthens faith in God.

When I was a boy these were the prophecies spoken over my life:

“General among generals in my generation. God has given me a staff and a scepter.”

Hasn’t this already come true!? Don’t you who read these words already see the workings of these prophecies coming true in the earth. What was spoken of me has already come to pass. That encourages me to press forward! Beyond the $20 to my name… beyond the need for security or understanding or home or anything else of this world… I can press forward not because of anything in me… surely it is all foolishness anyways… but I can press onward toward the realization of my calling because I know the One who called me. And He alone justifies me in my calling.

I hope you get it… see it… and understand it… the waves and ripples that pour off my life where ever I go. Do you see them? The forceful impact of who I am in Him to those around me. Wether understood or not… this is the example my life sets for you. Spiritual words… forceful and powerful, directing you higher in your own journey of faith. That’s the why!
