Today I’m to speak about Direction. Up, Down, Left, and Right… no… North, East, South, and West… no… Forward and Backward… no…

Direction. Simply direction. What direction are you traveling in? What are you going toward?

Direction as it relations to God… which Direction doesn’t actually mean anything in relation to God, who is Himself everywhere… and everything is in Him.

So what God, do you want me to speak about when you ask me to speak about Direction?…

Direction.

Come with me and let’s climb a mountain and look out over the Earth and let us consider Direction as it relates to you and I…

“The wind blows where it wishes and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it is coming from and where it is going; so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”” – John 3:8 AMP

I understand finally what I haven’t understood for a very long time. I understand the wind. And so I’ll speak of Direction to you as I’m meant to speak of it. As Wind.

Wind is current. It is active. It is moving. It is in motion. Without motion it has no meaning and without motion it has no form. Don’t you see what I’m trying to say? Can you perceive this? Open your blind eyes and let you callous ears hear… Direction is as the wind.

This is what the Spirit of God would say to you today… it doesn’t matter where you arrive at, no, absolutely not! But what matters is that you are in motion! Any motion! Like the Wind.

Does your life have motion? Does your life have Direction? Is your life moving? As it relates to God? As it relates to Eternity?

I wish I could help you understand this revelation. So deep as it is and as high as it is.

Let me try and I pray God will allow you to grasp what He has opened my eyes to.

In the moment He breathed life into you you began to move. Direction. And you began to breathe. Wind. Your life, your eternal existence began. And so now… as you read this… you are flowing through life. Day after day… gift after gift. You rise each morning and move through your day. Your life has meaning only as far as the actions you take relate to God Himself. Apart from that your life is motionless.

Those who do not know Jesus as Lord and Savior, those who have not been born again cannot move. Directionless. Still. Dead. Not having any impact on the eternal.

But those who have been born again and are alive in Jesus Christ have motion. Direction. Wind. So it doesn’t matter in witch way you go… no… to the right to to the left, the voice you hear will say, “This is the way walk in it.” The voice of His Spirit.

So wake up. Arise. Awake Bride of Christ and move! Direction. As the Wind. Have motion and know that any motion will always be moving you toward Him.

I have wrestled for four and half years with this. Direction. Motion. And trying desperately to understand this journey, this path of my life, and how to explain it to those I’ve met. And finally I can, Wind.

To walk with God means to be taken up and seated with Him in heavenly places… and what happens here is truly His to move where He wishes. Dead in Christ… alive in Christ. Everything pointing toward Christ. Even that which points away still points backwards to Him. Oh how great His love and grace for those who choose to put their faith in Him.

We who have been born again do not at all worry about tomorrow because tomorrow is held by Him. He promised and He is faithful. Lay down and die and rise to your proper place in His Kingdom. Trust the author and finisher of your faith. He is perfect and He will complete the work He began in you.

Direction. Wind. Motion. All flowing toward Him and away from Him and through Him and about Him. Don’t you see? The simplicity of the gospel of Jesus Christ… that causes the wise of this world to stumble but bring glory and salvation to those who bow their knee.
