Day 14 – Seperation

December 23rd, 2022 – 5:06pm – Mom’s House, Sherman, Texas, USA:

“But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power [their ability to do]; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired.” – Isaiah 40:31 AMP

Perhaps… just perhaps the reason so many do not choose God for relationship is that to know Him and to walk with Him requires a separation of us from the world we live in. A separation from family, from friends, from peers, from coworkers, from our culture, from the ways of the world around us.

Holy means set apart. Set apart. The living beings around the throne of God cry, “Holy, Holy, Holy!” As they behold God in all His glory. “Set Apart! Set Apart! Set Apart!”

“But like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves in all your conduct [be set apart from the world by your godly character and moral courage]; because it is written, “You shall be holy (set apart), for I am holy.”” – 1 Peter 1:15-16 AMP

The high cost of following Jesus is really no cost at all… to be set apart from the world day after day more and more.
