To my family, friends, supporters, and newcomers:

Today is Friday, June 2nd, 2023.

On Monday, June 5th, 2023, I will go to DFW Airport in Dallas, TX and board an airplane. The moment my feet step onto that airplane I will enter what God is calling “Deep Solitude”. He has given me a direction in which to travel, but as He told me yesterday, what I had thought would be the destination is only a direction. He has not told me my final destination, because I cannot know it yet.

I came here in January with nothing but the clothes on my back. This time, as God has directed me, I will not even take those. I will leave the Farm with just the clothes on my back but when I get to Dallas, before getting on the plane, I must buy new clothes and leave behind my old clothes. I also cannot take the hair on my head or the beard on my face, so I will shave both off before leaving here. When I began this journey with God He told me that He was making me a “sign and a wonder” and a spectacle. He has been and continues to be true to His Word.

I have had a couple weeks to ponder these things and talk to God about both the journey behind and the journey ahead. I conclude that I am blessed. I have the honor to lay down my life to obey Him.

Did you know that The Book Of Benjamin Kareth series began as a blog? God asked me to write a daily blog. I obeyed. And through that obedience God then asked me to turn the blog into a book. And then as I stepped forward in obedience, 1 book became 100. Do you see it? If I had not obeyed the “write a daily blog” He wouldn’t have trusted me with the “write a book series”.

I get to die, so that He can be seen. I get to lay down my wants and dreams, so that His wants and dreams can be accomplished. It is a price that I pay willingly and a price that others must pay as well as I obey. And that is the brilliance of a life laid down before God. No one is an island. The choices I make ripple across the whole earth and down through time and into eternity. So do yours. Every single choice ripples outwards, first effecting close friends and family and then out to the whole world.

The Christian life as a follower of Jesus is not One choice… it is a daily, moment-by-moment choice. What you choose or don’t choose today will change your tomorrows.

God has put this spirit in my that looks back and forward to see that what God is doing in me is important. My obedience to His Word matters not only for me but for my family and my friends. He is calling me away to be with Him, to listen to His Words and to write them down. I will obey. I will go where He sends me. I will do what He is asking me to do. And it will effect everyone in my life.

If I were to choose to not obey… that would cost me and my family and my friends far more than what it will cost them for me to obey.

I will always be amazed at how God can speak to me and in a moment transform the way that I see the whole wide world. I love how He leads and how He corrects. I am not the man I was yesterday, and tomorrow I won’t be the man I am today.

Next Wednesday, June 7th, I will turn 41. I will pass from my 40 years into the next 40.

For the next 4 years I will abide in Deep Solitude to complete The Book Of Benjamin Kareth.

This will be the last “update” from me on this blog. All future updates will be poured directly into the “Witness Testament” books. God has had me writing these daily since the beginning of this book series for this specific purpose. And there will be a new “Witness Testament” book every 4 months until the completion of this book series. So this is how you will know I am still among the living.

I hope you are all still living when I complete this series so that I can see you again this side of heaven. But to me that doesn’t at all matter because I know that I will spend eternity with you in heaven. For now I am going to focus on what God has me to do and complete the good works He planned long ago for me to do. I am setting my face like flint.
