I wanted to take another moment to share what my sister, Blessing, and her husband Kyle and their five young boys are doing now. They have heard God’s call to “GO!” and have begun the process of going. They have listed their house for sell, setting aside their comfortable life in the United States to go to Spain to minister the gospel to those God sends their way there. They are currently in Spain on a “Vision Trip” trying to discover where God wants them there.

I am so very proud of them. How well I know the cost to leave everything behind to “Go!” when God calls you to do so. How few there are that ever answer such a call.

Would you consider giving a financial gift to them today? Even $5 would say, “I see what you are doing and I want to be a small part of it.” I know how encouraging even small gifts are as you walk the lonely roads of obedience to the Lord.

Give A Gift To Encourage Them Along Their Journey

God doesn’t give much direction… usually He just says, “Go!” And from what I understand from Blessing through her reports so far is that they are simply following the little direction they have.

If you can’t give financially, would you consider giving a few moments of time in prayer for them? Perhaps writing their names down on a piece of paper and putting it somewhere in your home where you can regularly see it and pray for them along their journey?

Prayer changes things! For missionaries prayer is vital. Even small prayers matter and make a difference.

Another thing you can do is what I’m doing now, share their story with others. God has given you a platform, social media followers, etc… that you can use to get this family’s story of obedience out to other both to inspire them to obey God’s call on their lives and to raise financial and prayer support for this obedient family. This costs you nothing but time and a little bit of effort. Spread the word! Let’s see God begin a movement in Spain through the obedience of His children!

Sometimes finding the words to pray for something hard for us, so I’d love to offer you this prayer to pray for this family:

“Father, I thank you that you always hear me as your child. I come before you today to lift up the Ball family before you. I Bless them in the Name of the LORD. I ask that you would be the shield about them today. I ask that you would pour out your favor upon them as they have stepped out to obey you leaving behind the comforts of this world to go to a new country and culture to serve you there. I ask that your angels would be around them today. I ask that you would bless them with restful sleep in the night. I ask that you would open doors of ministry for them today as they seek to find the place you have for them there. I ask that you would show yourself their Faithful Provider.
