Chapter 12: To Those Who Have Lost Heart

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords. I am writing to you as I was called to do by the same King. This letter comes to you in all the love of the Father in heaven who is watching you today. He sends His greetings.

This is His word to you today:

“I see you my child and I see how you have lost heart and have become weary and tired along the journey. I see the way your feet struggle to take another step. I see that you wish to simply sit and rest for a while. So, come away with me. Come with me to a quiet place and let me speak life and strength back into your soul. I will hold you close and fill you to overflowing with My Holy Spirit. I will refresh you with My words of victory and I will sing over you My songs of triumph. Rest awhile with me and I will restore you so that we can walk again on the journey I have called you to.”

To those who have lost heart I say, “This road is narrow, and it is hard to travel on. This is true. But nothing is impossible with God. So, I say rise up! Rise up and go to a quiet place. Take off your helmet and armor. Lay your sword and shield down. Rest on the grass and allow the Living God to restore your strength with His love. Sing a new song to Him. Sing and keep on singing praises to God who has called you to the journey He has you walking on. Is it you who supplies strength for the journey? Certainly not. This journey is too hard for you, so rest with Him for a while. Be still and know that He is God. Be refreshed and filled to overflowing with His Holy Spirit.”

Chapter 32: To Those Who Struggle With Identity

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords. I am writing to you as I was called to do by the same King. This letter comes to you in all the love of the Father in heaven who is watching you today. He sends His greetings.

This is His word to you today:

“You are mine. That is your identity in Me. You are called and chosen by Me. I hold you in the palms of My hands. I hide you under the shadow of my wings. I protect you. I lead you. You are my child, and I am your Father. You are my apostle who I have sent forth to accomplish my will on the earth. I have uniquely prepared and equipped you for the service you are to perform for me according to my will. Be strong and courageous. Hold fast to me and I will strengthen you as you go out to where I’ve called you to go.”

To those who struggle with identity, I say, “We are a new creation in Jesus Christ. Whatever we were before, whatever labels we used to define ourselves, no longer matter. That person is dead and buried. You are now to be called, “Loved by God, Belonging To God, Called of the Lord.” These are your new names. Hold fast to what He has said you are. Letting go of all that this world tries to define as their identity for they have none at all.”
