A Glimpse Inside:
Chapter 26: Loneliness And Struggles
March 8th, 2024 – 7:02pm – In Solitude, Abiding In Obscurity in small-town U.S.A:
I am so very lonely. I want to go home but I do not have a home to go home to. Is this suffering for Jesus? Is this suffering for the gospel? If I am doing what God has asked me to do and I am in pain is this suffering for the kingdom of God?
I am trying to trust God. I am. I am trying so hard to do what He has asked me to do. The road ahead feels so long and seems so lonely. Oh, if only this and if only that… but none of those matters. My path is set.
Understanding isn’t necessary for faith. Faith without works is dead.
The promise of God I hold tightly to is this:
“After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace [who imparts His blessing and favor], who called you to His own eternal glory in Christ, will Himself complete, confirm, strengthen, and establish you [making you what you ought to be].” – 1 Peter 5:10 AMP
I have to draw close to God and allow Him to carry me through the next four years. It’s in Solitude where I am being refined. And when this is over I will emerge tried in the fires of suffering.
He alone is able to hold me fast and when I finish this work He has given me I will know that He did it all through me. What does tomorrow hold? Only He knows… the One who holds me.
Chapter 32: My Hand On The Walls Of The Cave
March 20th, 2024 – 9:09pm – In Solitude, Abiding In Obscurity in small-town U.S.A:
What is the true cost to take up our cross and follow after Jesus? I sit here wondering about this. And the question I wonder is how many of my brothers and sisters in Christ have or will ever know by experience the cost of the cross of Christ?
My sister sent out her newsletter, and I received it in my email earlier. I read it and looked at the photos of my mom and sister’s family. Pain ripped across my heart and tears welled up in my eyes. I miss them all so very much. I miss all those I’ve had to leave behind on this journey. I see all their faces and every moment we spent together with this photographic memory God has given me. I see my whole life in movie form. All the good times and the bad times are always there… for full and glorious playback. I’ve always wondered why God gave me such a wonderfully powerful memory. Perhaps one day I’ll have the answer to that question. I’m quite sure it’s something I daily take for granted.
Tonight, I just want to curl up and cry myself to sleep. Life goes by fast, I tell myself. This is all for His glory. I am doing what He asked me to do. I am in the center of His perfect will for my life. I’ve paid the cost of obedience. This suffering is temporary. Each tear is an offering of my life to Him. He holds them all in a bottle. So, after obeying God and writing this chapter… now I curl up to sleep.

Part 49: Like A Child
Front Cover, Back Cover, And Spine Artwork:

Book Description:
A Glimpse Inside:
Chapter 13: Trained Up In The Way
In Proverbs is reads:
“Train up a child in the way he should go [teaching him to seek God’s wisdom and will for his abilities and talents], Even when he is old he will not depart from it” – Proverbs 22:6 AMP
As I have been walking closely with God these past six years I have come to know Him more and more as my Father. My prayer has been:
“Father, train me up in the way I should go so that, when I am old, I will not depart from it.”
This has been the cry of my heart! I ask my Heavenly Father to train me up in His ways and to do His will… so that I will walk with Him and serve Him all the days of my life! I desire no other thing. I desire no other career or money or fame or fortune. I want only what God has prepared for me. He has taught me obedience to Him through what I have suffered. Like Christ I have been trained in righteousness by obedience and suffering. Consider this passage of scripture:
“Even though Jesus was God’s Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered.” – Hebrews 5:8
Ask God today to open the eyes of your heart to see the deep spiritual truth contained within this passage of His Word. I have come to love obeying God’s words to me. He has led me down a path I did not know… as this scripture reads:
“I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.” – Isaiah 46:16
Hold tightly to these scriptures. Write them on the tablets of your heart, your whole being. Ask the Holy Spirit to make them real in your life today and all your days.
The past 6 years have been written down for you to see how God leads one who has obeyed Him. You’ll agree that the path He has taken me down was truly: “by ways they have not known” and “along unfamiliar paths”.
God leads and we follow. He goes before us and comes behind us. He is to our left and to our right. His Holy Spirit surrounds our every movement as He promised us. If only we would simply be aware of Him and walk with Him! Ask God to train you up in the ways you should walk so that when your days increase you will continue to walk with Him in holiness and righteousness having been trained in obedience through the suffering, He has allowed you to experience for His glory.
Chapter 18: Out Of The Heart The Mouth Speaks
Oh, how I love this scripture from God’s Word:
“Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for the tree is recognized and judged by its fruit. You brood of vipers, how can you speak good things when you are evil? For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart. The good man, from his [inner] good treasure, brings out good things; and the evil man, from his [inner] evil treasure, brings out evil things. But I tell you, on the day of judgment people will have to give an accounting for every careless or useless word they speak. For by your words [reflecting your spiritual condition] you will be justified and acquitted of the guilt of sin; and by your words [rejecting Me] you will be condemned and sentenced.” – Matthew 12:33-37 AMP
Out of the mouth the heart speaks. What a scary thought! You can gauge the condition of a person’s heart by what comes out of their mouths… but remember… God alone can see the truth hidden in a person’s heart. He alone can judge someone because He alone can see who they really are.
If we are to become like little children, then we need to be soaking in God’s Word both day and night. We need to turn away from the popular entertainment of this world and turn to being filled repeatedly with God’s eternal Word. This action will fill our hearts with God… and then when we speak to others… faith and blessing will pour out to them.
What is the abundance of your heart? Do a search now of what you’ve stored up in your heart? Is it godly? Is it God’s Word? Or is it the worthless trash of this world? I must ask myself this often… and most often I find that I’ve allowed myself to feast on the deceptive foods and pleasures of this world instead of the Word of God. We must make the choice to feast on the Word of God. We must! It is difficult in this modern world of ours where everyone and everything points us to the fleeting pleasures of this world. But we must return to God and be filled with the bread that has come out of heaven, the very Word of God.

Part 48: Sanctification, Consecration, And Dedication
Front Cover, Back Cover, And Spine Artwork:

Book Description: “Sanctification, Consecration, And Dedication” is Part 48 of The Book Of Benjamin Kareth. Sanctification, Consecration, and Dedication are all linked. They are all spiritual in nature. They are all shrouded in that unknown mystery of the things of God. They all require faith to understand and faith to walk in and faith to grasp. Sanctification is the action of making or declaring something holy. Consecration is the action of making or declaring something sacred. Sacred means that something is connected to God. Dedication is a statement that says in whose honor something has been written, made, performed, or named. Come along on a journey of discovering these aspects of the faith.
A Glimpse Inside:
Chapter 11: Living Faith
As God has consecrated us to live for Him and be in His service, so we must have a living and active faith. An eternal perspective is what faith holds in its hands and is the perspective that is needed to walk in faith in time today.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Is your faith alive? Is your faith growing? Is your faith the size of a mustard seed? Is your faith placed firmly in Jesus Christ, the One whom is the author and finisher of that very faith?
God gave us free will and we must yield that free will to Him in this life each day. We must trust Him to lead and guide us. We must trust Him to provide for us in every single way.
We are blessed because we have not seen Him and yet we believe in Him. We are blessed that when we hold tightly to Him as our All in All. We are blessed to be God’s children and to be His ambassadors on this earth.
Our faith must be proven true faith by our good works. If we have faith, then that faith will be alive… it will be working in our todays. It will be growing ever stronger.
We must act to show that we believe in what we cannot see. Our faith will produce actions that show the world that that faith is true faith. It is not enough to simply say that we believe… internal faith is dead faith… faith without works is dead. Dead faith cannot grow or increase.
Our faith must be living and active each day of our lives. To the degree that we take steps of faith is the degree that we prove our faith to be true faith.
God has consecrated us to Himself not for our sake but for His and for those around us. Our life is no longer ours, it does not belong to us, but belongs to Jesus who paid the price for it on the cross. We must die to ourselves and live for Christ. There is no other way.
Ask God to show you, to teach you, to raise you up in Him. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you to overflowing with His power, the ability to do the good works that He has planned for the rest of your life. You have not because you ask not, so ask and keep on asking and you will receive. Your faith but be a living and active faith each day that you are alive. You must wake into that faith, and you must walk in that faith and you must lie down at night in that faith. Your faith must consume you and burn away everything that is of this world.

Part 47: Not Beyond Today
Front Cover, Back Cover, And Spine Artwork:

Book Description: “Not Beyond Today” is Part 47 of The Book Of Benjamin Kareth. God has been teaching me these past six years of walking closely with Him how to live this life He has given me. He has been teaching me how to do what He has asked me to do. And that “how” is by living in today, by not looking “beyond today” but simply by living moment by moment with Him. This I have come to call: “Not Beyond Today”.
A Glimpse Inside:
Chapter 6: Breaking Free
We have a war raging within us. On one side stands our flesh, the part of us still bent toward serving our own will and having our own way and defining for ourselves what is good and what is evil, and on the other side we have our renewed, reborn spirit that is filled with the Holy Spirit of the Living God.
Our flesh is a tyrannical dictator that demands its own way. It raises its hands in abject revolt against the Most High God. Only God knows the true evil of our heart of hearts.
But there is amazing news for us:
“For you, my brothers, were called to freedom; only do not let your freedom become an opportunity for the sinful nature (worldliness, selfishness), but through love serve and seek the best for one another.” – Galatians 5:13 AMP
We are called to freedom in Jesus Christ.
Freedom from our selfish inclinations.
Freedom from our self-seeking ways.
Freedom from all those things that rise within us against the knowledge of God.
Jesus bought and fully paid for our freedom, but we must choose to walk in that freedom.
If we are to live Not Beyond Today, we must learn to walk in the Holy Spirit. But how? How do we do this? How do we “Walk In The Spirit”?
“But I say, walk habitually in the [Holy] Spirit [seek Him and be responsive to His guidance], and then you will certainly not carry out the desire of the sinful nature [which responds impulsively without regard for God and His precepts]. For the sinful nature has its desire which is opposed to the Spirit, and the [desire of the] Spirit opposes the sinful nature; for these [two, the sinful nature and the Spirit] are in direct opposition to each other [continually in conflict], so that you [as believers] do not [always] do whatever [good things] you want to do. But if you are guided and led by the Spirit, you are not subject to the Law.” – Galatians 5:16-18 AMP
What can we do to walk in the Holy Spirit? Simply this… give God your time, your attention, your heart, and your life. It’s a hard pill to swallow, this world has so many shiny things that easily fill up our time and consume our attention.
We watch whatever we want to watch on YouTube or on a streaming service and then wonder why we struggle continuously with lust and greed.
We watch the news continuously and then wonder why we struggle with anxiety and panic over tomorrow.
What fellowship can light have with darkness? We are children of light, and we should be simply putting our focus on the things above and not on things below.
Where do your appetites lie? Do you have a craving for the things of God or of the world? Hard questions to be sure but ones that need to be answered if we are to draw closer and closer to the Lord.
We must become unknown even unto ourselves and this means that we must become so focused on God and living in Him that we completely lose sight of ourselves. This is what it means to take up our cross and follow Jesus Christ. We must truly die to ourselves and live to love God and others. If we are seeking our selfish desires, then we cannot seek God or to love others. To break free of that greedy grasping and fretful worrying about tomorrow we must die to our selfish nature and live for the cross of Jesus Christ. We must chase after and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit today.

Part 46: The Second Incredible Adventures Of The Girl With No Shoes
Front Cover, Back Cover, And Spine Artwork:

Book Description: “The Second Incredible Adventures Of The Girl With No Shoes” is Part 46 of The Book Of Benjamin Kareth. This is a fictional story that follows Anne, the girl with no shoes, as she travels to a mysterious world through a pond to help a king and queen fight away the darkness that is threatening the seven realms. This is part two of a seven part series. In her continuing adventures, Anne, helps the king and queen of the Realm Of Patience to purify the three pillars of light that have fallen to darkness.
A Glimpse Inside:
Chapter 6: Warsoses
After the three walked for a while without speaking, Tuck asked, “Do we know where we are going?”
Anne thought for a moment and replied, “I think we do.” She knew where they were going now. She could feel the darkness getting heavier and heavier with each step that they took. Somewhere ahead was the first of the three pillars of light that they would need to restore to push back the darkness from this realm. She didn’t know how they would do so, but she knew they would know when the time came. This is how it had been so far.
The three walked together down the cobblestone road. They were quietly listening for any sounds coming from within the dark fog that surrounded them. Tuck had drawn his sword and carried it at the ready along with his shield. Marrow used his staff as a walking stick. Anne had drawn her bow and had an arrow at the ready in it. Soon Anne saw a small pathway leading from the road off into the dark fog.
“That way.” She whispered to the others. The three turned off the roadway and walked down the small pathway single file. Tuck led and Marrow brought up the rear of the group.
A loud roar suddenly tore through the quiet followed by another to their other side.
“Keep walking.” Anne said. She searched the edge of the dark fog for any movement and wished desperately she could see further away. There was another loud roar that seemed closer to them and then another from the other side. It felt, to Anne, that they were being stalked on both sides. There was a growl. It was a deep raspy growl. It sounded wet, angry, and dark.
“Where are they? I can’t see anything.” Marrow whispered.
There was the sound of paws hitting the ground coming quickly toward them from one side.
“Watch out!” Anne cried.
“That way!” Tuck said pointing to the right of the path.
From the dark fog leapt a huge creature right at the group. Marrow was quick to jump in front of Anne and lifted his staff up to protect her. Light shone from the staff that he held. A bubble of pure light enveloped the group and the monster smashed into it falling to the ground and letting out a yelp of pain. It got to its feet and stumbled dazed then recovered. It stood angrily growling at them pacing back and forth outside the bubble of light.
Anne let out a nervous laugh and said, “That was lucky. Thanks Marrow.”
“Didn’t know I could do it.” Marrow replied. He still held the staff high above his head as the light continued to pour from it creating the bubble that protected them.
“How long does it last?” Tuck asked, sword and shield at the ready.
Marrow shrugged and said, “As long as I can hold it up, I imagine.”
Slowly the other warsose stalked out of the dark fog on the other side of them. It growled as it paced back and forth, drool dripping from its open mouth from between its shining white teeth. “These are the things of nightmares.” Anne thought to herself. They looked to her like giant wolves but somehow their black fur seemed ignited and burning with the dark fog itself. Wherever they stepped smoke would come from the ground beneath their feet.
“Use your bow.” A voice whispered to Anne. She turned about to see who had spoken to her, but she saw no one. “Use your bow.” The voice whispered again.
“Stand back Tuck.” Anne said. Tuck took a few steps back and took his place by her side. She lifted the bow she held at the ready and slotted the arrow in it. As she began to pull the arrow and the string back, the bow began to glow and radiate light. She pulled it back as far as she could, wondering if she could hit the monster.
“Light guide this arrow.” She said aloud and released the arrow.
The arrow sung through the arrow spilling light in its wake. The monster let out a roar as the arrow hit it on the side of its body just above its front leg. The monster let out a cry of pain and then slumped to the ground dead and unmoving. The three watched as the monster’s body vanished in a cloud of smoke that drifted up and joined the dark fog that surrounded them.
The other warsose let out a wild roar and retreated into the dark fog. The three of them listened to the sound of its retreat until they couldn’t hear anything anymore. Anne let out a sigh of relief. Tuck returned his sword to its sheath. Marrow slowly lowered the staff and the bubble of light vanished from around them.
“Handy weapons.” Marrow said.
“Indeed.” Tuck agreed. “We need to keep going.” Anne told them as she began to walk again on the path. “The pillar of light is close now.”

Part 45: The Letters To The Teachers Of The World
Front Cover, Back Cover, And Spine Artwork:

Book Description: “The Letters To The Teachers Of The World” is Part 45 of The Book Of Benjamin Kareth. I have been asked by God to write letters to each of the Teachers of the world. I will listen and write what God says. These are the first letters written to the teachers, those who train others in righteousness and truth, the “ones who will shine like the stars” of the world by me in obedience to the Lord.
A Glimpse Inside:
Chapter 6: To Those Who Are Struggling With Doubt,
Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords. I am writing to you as I was called to do by the same King. This letter comes to you in all the love of the Father in heaven who is watching you today. He sends His greetings.
This is His word to you today:
“Oh, that you would let go of that doubt that plagues you. That you would see it for what it truly is: pride. Humble yourself before Me and ask Me to fill you to overflowing with faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing My Word. Each time doubt rises in you, return to My Word and faith will find you. Let faith be your shield against all the weapons of the enemy. Rise up a standard of faith against the forces of darkness that come against you. Rise up in My Holy Spirit to soar as an eagle above the darkness below. Leave doubt behind and fly forward with me in faith.”
To those who are struggling with doubt, I say, “There are moments that doubt comes in like a flood to overwhelm me and then I remember all God has done for me. I remember He is faithful. I remember that He is. I allow my faith to be strengthened by His Word. I search His Word and find the Word that my heart needs. Doubt is the enemy, and we must stand against it and all those who peddle in lies and darkness. They live in kingdoms of darkness because they love the darkness, but we go toward the light. Always walk toward the light. No matter what! No matter what! Always rise up toward God with your mind, your heart, and your spirit. Be filled with faith today! Filled to overflowing!”
In the name of the King of kings, Jesus,
Grace and peace to you, Benjamin
Chapter 26: To Those Learning To Learn And Teaching To Teach,
Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords. I am writing to you as I was called to do by the same King. This letter comes to you in all the love of the Father in heaven who is watching you today. He sends His greetings.
This is His word to you today:
“Ah, the paradox of being a teacher. You must both be a student and be a teacher at once. You must learn from Me and at the same time you must teach others what I have taught you. The revelations that I share with you, you must pass on to those I have placed in your life. This is what it means to be a teacher, it is to have My very life and words and Word pass through you into the world around you. Be strong and courageous! Have faith in what I am teaching you and boldly proclaim it to others.”
To those learning to learn and teaching to teach, I say, “We are always going to be students of our Master. We will never be greater than He and we will never cease learning what He has to teach us. This is why we were created: to learn and grow. Learn His ways and teach them rightly to others. Learn His love and share it with others. Grow in the life and peace of God. Learn and teach. Learn and teach. Let the Holy Spirit pass through you to others. Do not hold it in for just yourself but scatter the seeds far and wide. The harvest will be great and it will be in righteousness and holiness.”
In the name of the King of kings, Jesus,
Grace and peace to you, Benjamin

Part 44: The Third Book To Know Him
Front Cover, Back Cover, And Spine Artwork:

Book Description: “The Third Book To Know Him” is Part 44 of The Book Of Benjamin Kareth. This book is a journey into solitude, and from solitude to discover Who God is… in 2021 God called me to come and know Him more. And so as my Solitude continues that is what I am seeking to do. This book is a collection of my daily findings on Who God is… it is my seeking To Know Him more and to make Him Known to the world.
A Glimpse Inside:
Chapter 23: The Nazarene
To Know Him… He is the Nazarene.
Ah, Nazareth… what a place.
I find it very interesting that Jesus was known not as being from Bethlehem, no, He was known as a Nazarene from Nazareth. Bethlehem was the city of David… but Nazareth was a very looked down on town with its people being fishermen and were despised by all those around them.
Jesus chose to be associated with the lowly rather than the highly regarded.
Consider that Jesus made Himself like a servant to come and serve us. Consider that we are to be the servants of all. How do we do this? Practically speaking we must serve those God has placed in our lives.
To love others as we love ourselves is to put their needs and wants above our own. We are to consider them as greater than ourselves. What an impossible task isn’t it? We need God to show us who we are in Him so that we can be secure enough in this world to humble ourselves before others to show them that they are worth a lot. Ask God today to fill you to overflowing with grace and mercy. Ask Him to teach you how to humble yourself before others and to truly love them well.
Chapter 36: The Son Of The Blessed
To Know Him… He is The Son Of The Blessed.
I’m not really sure what “Son Of The Blessed” means. I can only infer that it means that Jesus is the Son of the Blessed God… or perhaps Jesus is the son of Mary and Joseph who are blessed to be His parents?
We are all blessed richly by Jesus. His life for our life equals our salvation and redemption. I cannot ever imagine what it would have been like to be Mary or Joseph or any of those who walked with Jesus and lived beside Him day by day. That would have been incredible in a lot of ways… but I think I am somehow more blessed. Based on what Jesus Himself said to Timothy:
”Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, do you now believe? Blessed [happy, spiritually secure, and favored by God] are they who did not see [Me] and yet believed [in Me].”“ – John 20:29 AMP
Blessed means to be spiritually prosperous, happy, to be admired, forgiven, refreshed by God’s grace, inwardly peaceful, spiritually secure, worthy of respect, joyful, nourished by God’s goodness, content, sheltered by God’s promises, anticipating God’s presence, spiritually mature, spiritually calm with life-joy in God’s favor, comforted by inner peace and God’s love, and morally courageous.
I am all these things because I have believed in Jesus who I have not seen. My faith is not by sight but flows out of my spirit which has seen Jesus for who His as the Son of God sent to die for my sins.
I have not physically seen Jesus but I have seen Him in visions. God has done many things in the natural world to confirm my faith in Him. He has healed people and myself right in front of my eyes. He has left fruit in my path. Real fruit, at my feet. He has left a Gatorade by a bench on a climb I took… and it was my favorite flavor. Lately He has been leaving hair ties in my path literally everywhere I go… reminding me of His Great love for me. He speaks to me often. God is real.
Today, ask God to make Himself real to you more and more as you walk forward with Him in this life.Chapter 37: My Portion
To Know Him… He is my portion.
What is the meaning of life? I think if I were to sum it all up, to answer that question completely, I would say this:
The meaning of life is God. You and I were created to live for Him alone. You and I were created to walk with Him in the cool of the afternoons. You and I were created for Him. To praise and to glorify His Name. To show forth the glorious splendor of the richness of all that He is.
Whatever you think the final end of this journey through life will be, I have found the one thing that matters most: Him. He is the prize. He is the treasure. He is the reason. He is the way, the truth, and the life. He is all in all. To know Him and to make Him known is the meaning of life. He is our Portion, both in this life He has given us, and in the eternities of the eternities to come.

Part 43: The Tenth Witness Testament
Front Cover, Back Cover, And Spine Artwork:

Book Description: “The Tenth Witness Testament” is Part 43 of The Book Of Benjamin Kareth. This book is the telling of the continuing journey of Benjamin Potéxaná Kareth. This book chronicles how God told Benjamin to leave everything behind yet again and go to where He would show him to go. Benjamin went and traveled to a small city in nowhere USA where he would remain to complete writing this book series in Solitude and Obscurity.
A Glimpse Inside:
Chapter 11: The Importance Of Moments
November 2nd, 2023 – 4:04pm – In Solitude, Abiding In Obscurity in small-town U.S.A:
We must always keep in mind the importance of a single moment. It is probably the most important thing that we should keep in mind as we seek the Lord and seek to do His will in our lives.
I do not know the reason for my 84 days of employment at the gas station here. I do not understand all of the events that unfolded, nor their impact on my future in this town or on this book series. But what I do know is that God wastes nothing in the lives of His children. Every single moment is a moment that God uses to teach us, grow us up, and causes to turn out for our good.
Consider again this passage of scripture:
“And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.” – Romans 8:28 AMP
His plan and His purposes in our lives are the ones that always prevail. Nothing in this world, no human power or ability, no supernatural or angelic force can undermine the will of God for us who love Him and are by Him for His own will and purpose.
This is why we trust Him. This is why we listen and obey. Understanding is not required to obey God… for how could we ever understand the mind of God? How can we truly ever understand His ways? He is the One who sees it all. He is the One that sees the million ripples of a single choice on this earth.
One choice can change the course of the whole of human history. I can think of thousands of examples of this in the Bible. I can think of thousands of examples in human history.
I can think of the many things God has asked me to do in the past five and a half years that have seemed humanly crazy and against all earthly sound reason. But I have also witnessed firsthand the results of my obedience to Him. I have seen the ripples go outward. I have seen the lives changed. I have seen the results in my family’s lives and in the lives of those I have met along the way. One choice can change the course of the whole of human history.

Part 42: House Of Prayer For All Nations
Front Cover, Back Cover, And Spine Artwork:

Book Description: “House Of Prayer For All The Nations” is Part 42 of The Book Of Benjamin Kareth. In this book you and I will explore what it means for us individually and as the Body Of Christ to be houses of prayer for all the nations. God desires to saturate our whole being with His presence and power. Once we are filled we are to pour out to the world around us through prayer and our obedience to God. This book is an exploration of being a house of prayer for all the nations as it relates to a life serving the Living God.
A Glimpse Inside:
Chapter 12: Deep Mysteries
Prayer is the doorway to all the mysteries of God. The Holy Spirit reveals to us things as we draw close to Him and walk with Him. To become a house of prayer for all the nations requires us to step into a world of mystery, the unseen realm of spirit and faith. It requires us to set aside what we can see and embrace what we can’t see. Faith is the substance of things not seen. There are a few scriptures that comes to my mind that I’d like to share here:
”but just as it is written [in Scripture], “Things which the eye has not seen and the ear has not heard, And which have not entered the heart of man, All that God has prepared for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, who obey Him, and who gratefully recognize the benefits that He has bestowed].” For God has unveiled them and revealed them to us through the [Holy] Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things [diligently], even [sounding and measuring] the [profound] depths of God [the divine counsels and things far beyond human understanding]. For what person knows the thoughts and motives of a man except the man’s spirit within him? So also no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the [Holy] Spirit who is from God, so that we may know and understand the [wonderful] things freely given to us by God. We also speak of these things, not in words taught or supplied by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining and interpreting spiritual thoughts with spiritual words [for those being guided by the Holy Spirit].“ – 1 Corinthians 2:9-13 AMP
What wonderful mysteries God has shared with me as I have walked with Him, and some of those I have been allowed to share in the books but most I must keep to myself.
Another scripture that comes to mind is this:
”The wind blows where it wishes and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it is coming from and where it is going; so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”“ – John 3:8 AMP
We as followers of Jesus Christ that have been filled with the Holy Spirit of God are like the wind, He blows us here and there, but no one knows where we are going or where we have come from.
Even this book is filled with spiritual words. There are the mysteries of God contained within these pages hidden in my broken human words. Ask the Holy Spirit to speak to your heart so that you can grasp all the wonderful mysteries of Himself He has spoken through me here.
A house of prayer sits high atop a tall mountain and looks out over the world with the eyes of the Holy Spirit and this house of prayer is moved to words that come from Him and not from themselves. Prayers of power and of great effect come from the Holy Spirit up and through the mouth of a house of prayer and then outwards to all the nations. Much like the process of me writing my books… the bubbling up of the living waters from deep within, so your prayers must be.
God is mystery… and we must seek Him out and as we do… we ourselves become a mystery to the world around us. They can look on but cannot see what God is doing. A house of prayer for all the nations is a mysterious house that has been built by the Holy Spirit for His purposes upon the earth.
